LA Pink Dragons will be selling SUBWAY sandwiches as a fund raiser at the May 22nd Long Beach race. Sandwiches will be delivered right to our tent on race day!

We will need to pre-order our sandwiches and pay by May 15, Sunday (next weekend). Here's the menu:

1. TURKEY/ 12 INCH/ $5.00
2. HAM/12 INCH/$5.00
3. TURKEY/HAM/ 12 INCH/ $5.00
4. ROAST BEEF/ 12 INCH/ $5.25
5. VEGGIE/ 12 INCH/ $4.50

** CHOICE OF BREAD: WHITE OR WHEAT. 12 INCH SUB CUT IN HALF TO SHARE**
Let me know how many of you are interested in this so we can get an order going.

NEED VOLUNTEERS!
Also, because we are now considered a "veteran" team, Dr. Chen needs paddlers to volunteer to help monitor practices in preparation for the Long Beach Tournament on July 30-31. We need 2 paddlers for hour-long shifts (or LONGER if you can) - you will be responsible for safety and order on the beach (specific duties to follow sometime this week).

As of today, AeroDragons will be responsible for monitoring boats from 7AM to 2PM on SAT June 25th AND SAT July 2nd. More teams may be added to fill the schedule. This is a TEAM responsibility and I need each AeroDragon to sign up for at least one day! Please let me know your preference (date & time) as soon as possible. . .

PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS: Segregated gender resistance training (girls vs. boys). Carolyn losing her diamond cross. Henry & Mike finding it! Helping to bring in the brand new shiny boats in on Sunday (2 regular boats, 2 "baby" 10-man boats).

Thanks to those who are volunteering for our recruiting effort at Circle A Ranch (Aerospace Corp). We'll see you Paulikas Mall around 11AM this Thursday!

PRACTICE THIS WED, SAT & SUN. PLEASE RSVP FOR THE DAY YOU'RE COMING and make sure you arrive PROMPTLY at 5:30P WED, 9:30A SAT or 8:30A SUN for warm-up. Saturday we're the YELLOW boat. Sunday we're the BLUE boat.

TAIPEI/CHINA team practices (if you're going) have been scheduled for SAT at 1PM and SUN at 12P.

REMINDER: Make sure you have something to eat in the morning before you come to practice (think bananas, energy bars, carbs/protein, etc..), Your body needs food to produce energy to paddle. We don't want you to get sick while out on the water. Also, bring water or Gatorade to hydrate yourself while paddling.
