GREAT STEERING JOB to SUN steers Brian (the kid), Jonathan and Allita!

WE WILL BE STARTING WEDNESDAY EVENING PRACTICES with the week of Daylight Savings - March 14th WED practice starts at 6PM!
PRACTICE SAT & SUN --- PLEASE RSVP for SAT and/or SUN practice, make sure you arrive at 9:30AM SAT or 8:30AM SUN for warm up.
LAND TRAINING --- Make sure you are doing 3 sets of 40 each sit-ups, push-ups and squats --- 3X/week!
DO NOT PARK ON APPIAN WAY. Please park in the metered parking or the Boy Scout lot south of 2nd Street bridge.
MEMBERSHIP DUES for 2007 are due NOW.
REMEMBER in case of rain/sewage spill or other extenuating circumstance, find out status of practice by calling my cell phone at (310) 749-3592 after 8:00 AM on day of practice for a recorded message . . .
EAT SOMETHING before practice (bananas, energy bars, carbs/protein, etc.). You need food to produce energy to paddle. We don't want you to get sick while out on the water. Also, bring water or Gatorade/Vitamin Water to drink while paddling.

THANKS to Dee for handling practice for us last weekend --- heard it was a good one! (SUN practice rained out . . .)

Way to keep up with the endurance drills SAT crew! Thanks to our steers: Brad, Paul and Joannza. Great job on timing/active resistance SUN crew - thank you to Anthony and Brad for help in unloading boats!
SAVE THE DATE - MANDATORY PADDLING CLINIC ON SAT MARCH 31ST - plan to spend the whole day. Alain Ruel from Jet Start will conduct this clinic and we will be videotaping all of you and critiquing everyone on form and technique. Watch for separate Evite for this.
