JUST WANT TO REITERATE how IMPORTANT it is to EAT AND HYDRATE before practice! From NOW THROUGH THE RACE SEASON, our practices will start to become more INTENSE - PLEASE make sure you are giving your body enough nutrients to sustain through our practices!

MANDATORY SAT practices THIS SAT for Long Beach Local Race Crew AND Las Vegas Crew --- please try to make this practice AND as many practices as you can between now and race day April 22nd (LB) and May 5 (Vegas)!

REMINDER - BOOK YOUR ROOMS FOR LAS VEGAS. DEADLINE IS APRIL 5TH.
PRACTICE WED & SAT --- PLEASE RSVP for WED & SAT (No SUN practice - Happy Easter!), make sure you arrive at 6:00PM WED and/or 9:30AM SAT for warm up.
WED PRACTICES - if you are running late, call Dee at 949-690-3854 to let him know.
LAND TRAINING --- ADD THE PLANK TO YOUR ROUTINE. Make sure you are doing 3 sets of 40 each sit-ups, push-ups and squats --- 3X/week!
DO NOT PARK ON APPIAN WAY. Please park in the metered parking or the Boy Scout lot south of 2nd Street bridge.
REMEMBER in case of rain/sewage spill or other extenuating circumstance, find out status of practice by calling my cell phone at (310) 749-3592 after 8:00 AM on day of practice for a recorded message . . .
EAT SOMETHING before practice (bananas, energy bars, carbs/protein, etc.). You need food to produce energy to paddle. We don't want you to get sick while out on the water. Also, bring water or Gatorade/Vitamin Water to drink while paddling.
