PLEASE respond to this Evite if you will be going to SFO. Rooms at the Hilton have sold out and we will find other options for you if we have more people than can fit in the 6 rooms we have. It's important that you stay somewhere near the Hilton so you can take the shuttle to Treasure Island.

Let me know:

1. Are you going?
2. Can you share a room?
3. Can you carpool?

San Francisco Dragon Boat Festival will be our season-closer for the year. Instead of the Parc55 this year, the hotel is the Hilton Financial District (still easily accessible via BART from OAK or SFO).

I currently have 6 rooms booked --- rooms run $129/night --- please RSVP to this Evite if you plan on attending this year. Should be lots of fun - our friends from Jet Start will be there as well as most of the local teams from Long Beach . . .

Dates are October 4th & 5th. Kaiser is returning the favor and will host us in San Francisco.

Please let us know ASAP if you plan to attend/or not!

PRACTICE SAT & SUN 9AM both days!

LAST WEEKEND TO PRACTICE BEFORE SFO

THIS WEEK AND NEXT WEEK:
1. Lots of stretching/work on your flexibility.
2. Long, slow push-ups and sit-ups - work your CORE.
3. Work on your endurance: running, walking, cycling - anything to keep your heart rate up.
4. Start hydrating (drink more water).

PADDLERS INTERESTED IN POLAND? Dr. Chen is trying to get a team together to represent the USA in Poland on Sept. 26 & 27. This is a "spur-of-the-moment" trip - no testing involved. Let me know if you're interested.

Chriselle and Iris will be in charge of team dinner in SFO on SAT night --- let them know if you have any suggestions (restaurant needs to be able to seat 30+ people).
